Hardman Bros. have received (and tested) their latest piece of machinery, a 3D printer that will hasten the design and testing process. The uPrint SE Plus has a printing or build size of 203 x 203 x 152 mm (8 x 8 x 6 in.) and uses fused deposition modelling (FDM) technology to build models in thermoplastic. The 3D Printer will streamline the research and development process with the capability to print straight from a CAD drawing.
The printer will allow our research and development team to test prototypes more efficiently by cutting out the lengthy and costly machining process. 3D printing will allow Hardman Bros. to develop prototype ideas faster & cheaper than ever before. Being able to 3D print a concept the same day it was designed shortens the development process from what might have been weeks to a matter of days. Another major advantage is the ability to quickly and easily test a prototype for fitment and just as quickly make any adjustments necessary. This will allow Hardman Bros to continue to excel and push the boundaries in an ever advancing industry.
